Responses to economic turmoil in the North Sea Region 1790-1940

Dealing with three different types of crisis’ the conference focuses on the following questions:

1. What caused the crisis? 2. What was the immediate impact of the crisis? 3. What measures were taken to overcome the crisis? 4. Did crisis management create transition? And 5. What was the long term impact of the crisis.
